Hockey Byswa is dedicated to coaching individuals and teams in schools, clubs and on specialised camps and courses. Our aim is to help both adults and juniors learn and improve their skills, whatever their standard, by using the best coaches available. Hockey Byswa Head Coach is John Shaw who has built up a reputation as a player and top coach. He played for England and Great Britain between 1984 and 1996 and has gone on to coach both the England under-21 and under-16 squads. In 2006, John helped launch junior coaching academies in selected schools and clubs across the country with international players and qualified coaches. Successful courses were run in Hampshire, Essex and Kent with up to 60 children attending. These short intensive courses ensure participants have top quality pre-season training using the latest coaching techniques.
